Then there was a huge tender to finish preparing which would get us into the West of London and help to pay for the new Heathrow Asphalt Plant. And we had to undertake a complete overhaul of our IT systems – a job that was long overdue. And wasn’t there something else? Oh yes, that was it. I was going to make some changes to the Board. So, just another working day.

At the Official Opening Ceremony on November 25 th 2011, Bernd Benninghoven, MD of Benninghoven GmbH & Co. KG, and his colleague Rainer Böllinger present me with the key to the new Asphalt Plant.
