GREAT PEOPLE

ENVIRONMENT

At FM Conway, we recognise that a truly inclusive business allows its people to be their very best, and this will remain our key focus over the next 12 months. Through our ‘All Great People’ EDI Strategy and our ‘Healthier Together’ Mental Wellbeing Strategy, we will support our existing colleagues and the communities in which we live and work by: • Prioritising local employment, including a focus on apprentices • Achieving Armed Forces Gold accreditation • Publishing an ethnicity pay gap • Supporting women into construction, transport, and engineering • Creating programmes that support refugees and the homeless As a proud family business, we want to ensure that our communities are thriving. These are the communities that we work to maintain and enhance, and they are at the heart of all we do. We will enhance our commitment to our communities by: • Launching our new community volunteering strategy • Increasing our support for youth homelessness through the Street Soccer School • Exploring opportunities for an employee and community nursery • Continuing to support and deliver the London Construction Academy • Promoting wellbeing in our communities including access to defibrillators COMMUNITY

For over 30 years, FM Conway has pioneered sustainable construction activities to ensure that we deliver a positive lasting legacy within our communities. Our unique self delivery model enables us to invest in opportunities which avoid the use of natural capital, including quarries, fossil fuel, raw materials, and other virgin sources. Our Net Zero strategy sets out our roadmap to 2030 and over the next year we will: • Develop and publish a new Sustainability Statement • Introduce an all-electric company car policy • Produce bio-diversity assessments for all key sites • Reduce the absolute carbon emissions across the Group from our baseline year • Certification to PAS2080 to support decarbonisation through the supply chain and create a culture of carbon reduction We understand that only through collaboration and innovation with our supply chain will we fulfil our ambitions and strategies. Our supply chain will help to drive our own improvements and efficiencies. Over the next 12 months, we will continue to work closely with our supply chain to unlock these benefits and help to demonstrate best practise with a focus on: • Increasing our local supply chain and encouraging SME’s and VCSE’s • Sharing of our EDI strategy and vision • Improving data and information on our supply chain • Working with our supply chain on carbon reduction • Collaborating with clients, producing case studies, and sharing best practice SUPPLY CHAIN
