By our baseline reporting year 2030/31, we will have reduced our Scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2019 baseline to 28,191 tCO 2 e. This is a reduction of 50%. By our reporting year 2045/46, we will have become a net zero organisation for Scope 1 & 2.

Our Net-Zero Commitment FM Conway is targeting Net-Zero Carbon (Scopes 1 & 2) by 2045, five years ahead of the Government deadline. Set against a 2019 baseline, we have begun mapping a credible roadmap to net zero through a range of measures covering all key aspects of our operations, and we have already established a track record of delivery. Compared with the baseline reporting year, annual emissions have reduced by 4,192 tCO 2 e – representing a 7.4% reduction. However, in relation to our carbon intensity ratio, we have reduced our carbon per £million turnover by 37%, from 143 tCO 2 e to 90 tCO 2 e per £1m. This is a good indication that we are beginning to decouple business growth from carbon emissions. Our target for this year is to reduce our carbon emissions from a baseline of 56,382 tCO 2 e to 42,286 tCO 2 e.
