Maternity leave If you are pregnant, congratulations! Please speak to your line manager as early as possible so that we can take any additional steps needed to ensure the health and safety of you and your baby.

Eligible colleagues are entitled to up to 52 weeks maternity leave and may also be entitled to either Statutory Maternity Pay or Maternity Allowance.

In addition, you are entitled to take up to 10 Keeping in Touch (KIT) Days during your maternity leave, paid at your standard rate of pay. Our colleagues on maternity leave remain very much part of the team and as we encourage you to use of your Keeping in Touch Days to undertake training, attend meetings, or just visit work to be kept updated with any business activities, news and information.

Paternity leave Colleagues whose partner is giving birth or who are becoming an adoptive parent may be entitled to paternity leave. Please speak to your line manager if you wish to apply for leave to help take care of your child.

Shared parental leave

Shared Parental Leave is available to all of colleagues. There may also be an entitlement to Shared Parental Pay.

Eligible parents are entitled to take up to 50 weeks Shared Parental leave during your child’s first year.

Adoption leave

A family friendly company

Colleagues who are matched with a child are entitled to 52 weeks Adoption Leave provided they have 26 weeks’ continuous service.
