Social Value Report 2020-2021

METHODOLOGY

A BUSINESS PARTNER WITH A DIFFERENCE

OUR HERITAGE

UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (UN SDGs) FM Conway is committed to supporting the UN SDGs. We demonstrate this through our Sustainability Strategy whilst, throughout this report, we will highlight our activities that support individual or multiple UN SDGs.

Celebrating our 60th Year; FM Conway is a family-run infrastructure services company, delivering vital services in transportation, the built environment, and open spaces.

Our 60th anniversary seems an appropriate time to look ahead, as well as to celebrate our achievements. Our business strategy for the next 10 years will build on three key areas - Self-Delivery, Carbon and the Environment, and Technology; putting them front and centre of our business activities. Our self-delivery model is unique; no other company can match our expertise and experience across the full range of asset management and maintenance activities. Our track record is also based on environmental sustainability and embracing technology wherever it could improve efficiency or safety. We live in a changing world and, as we look to ‘Build Back Better’ after the challenges of 2020, we believe that our business strategy, delivered by our great people, will allow us to achieve even greater success going forward, greater than the significant achievements of the last 60 years and an even greater commitment to the communities we serve.
