Social Value Report 2024-2025
“I know I speak for everyone at RBLI when I say we are incredibly grateful to FM Conway for their continued support and their generous donation of £25,000 towards the Centenary Village this year. Their funding is helping us provide homes for veterans and it’s wonderful to know that FM Conway shares our commitment to supporting those who’ve served. Partnerships like this remind us of the great impact we can have when charities and companies work together to create opportunities. Thank you FM Conway for your ongoing support and standing with us.” Lisa Farmer OBE , Chief Executive, RBLI
Working with the Veteran Community
In addition to being recognised by the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme, at Gold Level, for our work in supporting and recruiting ex-servicemen and women, we have also formed a longstanding relationship with Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI). The RBLI undertake a broad range of excellent schemes to support those who have served our country and are now facing challenges in their lives. In 2019, the centenary year of RBLI, FM Conway undertook a five-year commitment to support their vision for 100 new homes for ex-servicemen and women, building on RBLI’s outstanding track record over the last 100 years. That initial commitment ended last year, but we have pledged to continue supporting RBLI’s ambitions to provide more support for female veterans in need. In particular, there is a chronic lack of housing for female veterans, and we are pleased to support RBLI to address this gap by funding the construction of new homes. We see in RBLI both a track record of excellence and a drive to continually improve. These values resonate strongly with FM Conway, and we are proud to partner with this outstanding organisation.
